With multiple progressive candidates running, the New York Working Families Party is taking on the challenge of keeping progressives united, instead of splitting our base of voters.
How do we win together?
- Rank your values
Rank the candidates in the Slate at the top of your ballot. You can rank up to five candidates in order of preference. If your top choice doesn’t win, your vote still counts for your next preferred candidate. - Power in numbers, unite!
Rank all of them, not just one. By ranking ALL WFP-endorsed candidates, you maximize the ability to transfer votes between Working Families champions and strengthen the chances that one of them will actually win. - D.R.E.A.M
Don’t Rank Eric or Andrew for Mayor. We don’t need men who abuse their power running our city. We can and must do better! - NYC Voters are Ready to Rank!
In the 2021 NYC elections, ranked-choice voting was very popular: 86% of voters ranked at least two candidates, and at least 75% ranked three. Let’s do it again!
The WFP will have a two-step endorsement process:
- First: we will endorse a slate of candidates whose campaigns best represent Working Families values and a strategy to win with Ranked-Choice Voting.
- Second: as we get closer to Election Day, we will propose a ranking to guide voters and consolidate political support.
You can be one of the first to know the ranking:

WE CAN WIN THIS ELECTION, BUT WE MUST DO IT TOGETHER!
Our collective task is to get as many voters as possible to rank the Working Families slate, and leave the Trumpy politicians off their ballots.
